LES ATELIERS SNCF (2008)
This project is the free documentation of an interrupted place. In the past, it belonged to the French National Railway (SNCF), and worked as a repair shop, where trains were repaired. In a few years, it will be redesigned and will become rencontre of creation for visual arts.
Currently, the place is living in an ellipsis, since it is of no use for society. It is a moment with no memory, a blank space, a contradiction. It is everything and at the same time is nothing, is progress and decadence, is the ruin. As such, it brings to mind a change of values of a society. The project suggests a path through which observation leads to space. There is an awaiting situation in each corner waiting to be discovered. Light creates its own fantasies, alongside the possibility of an encounter.
