TIEMPOS INTERRUMPIDOS (2003-2006) (Interrupted Times)
In the last 10 years, Lima has grown vertically, which has originated a urban revolution that changes the landscape and redefines intimately the collective identity.
Old houses start disappearing to pave the way for new parallelepipedal structures. Buildings are modifying the city space rules, therefore the height, volume and shape of said urban landscape become relative.
The purpose of taking photographs of those landscapes while they seem to be changing (using the repetitive framing) is to offer the observer certain proximity and distance to try to understand a new way to consume and define the city.
